New releases and Bowl Expo
« on: May 03, 2006, 10:52:13 PM »
This seems to happen every year, so instead of me posting it a zillion times, I will make one topic and leave it at that.

The new Hammer releases will be unveiled at Bowl Expo, as they are every year.   The balls hit the approved list in April/May, but will not be released until June, at Bowl Expo.

This topic is meant to be informative.   I just didn't want to have to keep copy and pasting my responses, like Chitown does on the DOOM.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. And now, people are loving black bowling balls again. Never ceases to amaze me, we human beings!

i believe that to be the dumbest statement ever made. every resin ball put out by any company is available usually from 12-16lbs but always 14-16. the blue/purple Switch Blade was available in i believe 12-16 and i know its atleast 14-16 because my sister has a 14lb Switch. they wont release a resin ball that isnt available in all weights, thats retarded.

....now throwing Brunswick like a real man

well check the approved list then (i also have a 14lb switch), hey its not my fault, thats the way Hammer are making it

jason,

How do they look in person? Is the black widow solid black with just a black widow on it? Is the pain dull or shiny? is the vibe actually blue in color?

Let us know..

PAIN-  Purple/White swirl.  1000 Abrolon, I think.  Fairly dull finish
VIBE-  Very Blue with Sparkles.
Widow-  Black and deep red swirl.  Mine doesn't have much red in it.   Red Widow.

The Blade line is no longer available.

The Switch Blade you see is international only.

I will be drilling and throwing the Black Widow, Blue Vibe and the Pain today.

The 3 bowling balls mentioned above are the only ones being released by Hammer at this time.

Tonight I will make sure I post my thoughts compared to the rest of the Hammer product line.
