Title: New Video Coming **Video Done**
Post by: jhutch769 on January 05, 2007, 06:21:44 PM
Hello all, I have a new video coming, if anyone is interested..  I am throwing my Raw Hammer Pain, Doom, and Black Widow on the Chameleon Pattern using all different lines and modifying my release a touch...

I got about 12 shots in tonight before the camera battery died on me..  So look out for that in the next week or so...

That would be awesome bud.  I would like to see these balls perform on the PBA patterns.  Others will get to see how well the raw series balls work on the tough patterns.

Sorry, took a little longer than expected..  I have a bunch of shots with the Doom/Pain/BW on the PBA Chameleon Pattern from the sportbowling.com website..  I should have everything compiled and edited tonight after work...

Ok, the video is done.

It can be located here:

I am throwing the Widow first, then the Pain, then the Doom..  I throw a few shots up the 5 board area, then 10, then 15, then around 20....

I found the best reaction with either the Doom or the Pain up 5ish..

I threw one game after I threw the test shots on 1/27/07 with the doom up five and shot 235 x x x x x x 8/ 9/ x 9- (missed a nine pin)

Great vid once again.  It really shows what is the best part of the lane to play.  The PAIN seemed to give you the best look on that pattern.

The PAIN is an incredible bowling ball on tough patterns.

Great vid!

The DOOM looked good as well.  The BW didn't seem to react as well on that pattern.  It seemed to strong on the back end and harder to control.  What do you think about the 3 balls?

The way you throw the ball is almost exactly like the way I throw the ball. It was kinda weird though because it looked like your pain was out curving the black widow.

I didn't have a good look with the Widow at all..  THe pain rolls a bit earlier and was reading the midlane a bit better for that pattern..  I have a decent look with the widow on the Shark pattern...

I actually I think I liked the carry percentage a bit better with the doom on that pattern..  It would really depend on the condition of the lane surface...

15-16 in our house probably has the worst carry of all of them..  Lots of 7-10's and even a few 5-7-10's

Nice quality on the video and comparison. I've seen guys with more hand prefer the widow on the sport and pba patterns and the guys with less revolutions are preferring the Pain. Its interesting but its just what i've seen in the leagues in my area.

Once again great quality and nice comparison, also I'd like to say you look very good at the line and have a nice approach.

I am going to work on freeing up my armswing a bit from the top, I think I am pulling down a bit, but thanks for the comment on my game..

I also liked the widow to an extent on the Shark, but so far it has been best for my on the house condition..  I was able to use it a bit Wednesday in a sweeper on the scorpion, but I had the most success again with my pain...

Nice job with comparison between lines and balls and all that...the rattling sideswipe transition between shots has got me a little motion sick however.

chi, thanks for the bump...

Sorry about the transitions, I use Ulead Video Studio, and just use a template for the transitions and everything, it is the "sports template"...  I don't really go in and edit it that much, just put the videos in and let the proggie add the transitions..  I will keep than in mind when I make my Total NV video (which I will probably do on the USBC Open pattern)...
