No Mercy-- Good Ball?
« on: July 11, 2007, 05:01:11 PM »
I know a lot of people like the Black Widow, but is the No Mercy better?  I have heard good things about both.  I have medium revs and generally like to play pretty straight.  Thanks,

Zach

I've thrown both, but remember, my NM was not drilled with the #1 layout. For me the NM turned hard had more length than the BW but both were drilled for length and snap. The BW was not mine and the span was about 1/4 inch off so the grip was not right and maybe that was some factor in me liking the NM over the BW, comfort in the grip.

My wife's NM is drilled for a slow huge arc where mine is more skid/snap. She's a more midlane and I'm more down and in so depending on how the ball is drilled will determine the reaction. Several folks in here went with the #1 layout and didn't like the ball. Not everyone fits the #1 and knowing your PAP is most important on this ball than most.

So, asking about this ball over another is difficult unless you find someone with the layout you are thinking about using.
