No Mercy surface tweaking???
« on: February 01, 2007, 06:49:54 AM »
Has anyone taken their No Mercy down to 600 or 800 grit, then hit it with Rough and Buff or any other polish? I was thinking of tinkering with it, to see if I got more overall hook, but still a good backend.

Black Widow for heavier.  I took my MN to 1000 with polish and love it.  With fresh backends, it FLIPS!  With carrydown, it still comes up with great hitting power.  Mine is drilled #1.  The more games, the better it works.  I also bowl on wood lanes.  Have not tried synthetics yet though...
