Suggestion for a low track player.....
« on: February 25, 2004, 09:41:51 PM »
He's a lefty and throws the old school 3/4 ball roll.
Hardest condition for him is heavy oil. We bowl on
Brunswick Lanes. They oil 35 to 38 feet. We bowl the
second league shift where there's a lot of carry down.

What Hammer ball and drill pattern would be good?

Thanks in Advance.

Hey Jonathan Ng this is Derrick Woods.  I am From Houston and I bowl at center in Houston that has Pro Anvilane an gerally the characteristics of that suface is it is really smooth and kinda hard to get the oil compeletly off so that it leaves a residue even when the lanes are fresh which makes the transition a lot faster than other syntheic surfaces.  Which explains the massive carrydown in your league, the oil never really is soaked up like it would be on a wood surface.  My strong suggetion would be a Power Diesel with 4" by 4" from PAP with no hole to get the most flare out of the lay out. If the ball is too much just put some polish residue from a old towel to knock the shine off.
