Danny Wiseman is selling that ball.  The value of any ball is what the market will bear.  Considering the popularity of this ball, the years since its release, and how rare a NIB Faball is these days, his price may not be too far out of line.  Again, if someone is willing to pay that much, then the price isn't redunkulous.

Considering the number of them he has listed and that as I remember none have sold. I think gives you your answer.

Part of the problem is it is 16lbs. Even though they were made special for a certain purpose, for many bowlers that doesn't really matter in todays game and drill techniques.

Even at 15lbs I don't think it would sell near that high. If you throw 16lbs, you can find almost any ball from years ago available at some time or another on ebay, new, and usually for less then $80. It isn't as popular of a weight and the sales reflect that.

Be good, or be good at it.
…… you can't  add a physics term to a bowling term and expect it to mean something.

There's ALWAYS someone willing and able to pay such high prices for an "apparently" valuable ball. That NEVER means it is worth that much in reality.
It it were $10,000.00 instead of $1,000.00, there would still be someone who could EASILY afford it. It is still not worth that much IN REALITY.

It IS ridiculous!
