From the descriptions and reviews I've read on the Black Widow Venom so far, it sounds like a polished Black Widow Bite. But since I've already got my Bite in a polished state, how much difference would there be between the two balls?

(Not sure if I'm trying to either talk myself into or out of buying a Venom, but interested in all opinions.)

That DOES sound like a ball I can use. In fact...sounds like what I was looking for when I bought the Bite several months ago.

The Venom seems perfectly placed between the Bite and my Ebonite Raid, as normally the Raid isn't strong enough until the 2nd or 3rd games. The Bite was supposed to provide a stronger/earlier reaction than my Raid, but in it's OOB state, it was much earlier and despite some good games, did not fill that position.  

Since polishing my Bite, it's much closer to the ball I intended it to be, but am thinking the Venom might actually already BE that ball. Just don't want to end up with essentially a twin of the Bite, as I like the Bite, but not enough to duplicate it.
