Title: Pure Hammer
Post by: Ric Clint on June 23, 2004, 09:27:21 AM
Anybody know what the RG and RG Differential is for the 15lb PURE HAMMER is?

Also, once and for all, what in the world kind of coverstock does it have? I've heard that it's Urethane and I've heard that it's a Urethane Blend and also that it's Mild Reactive... what is it?

I've thrown one and doesn't get through DRY heads and midlanes as clean as a plain ol' regular Urethane, it acts like a reactive in the heads on dry lanes in that it wants to hook early!

Anybody else having this problem? I'm disappointed with this ball not getting through Drier heads cleanly... isn't it suppose to???

Oppinions?

Is the RG a typo?  Isn't 2.43 the low limit?

bullred--
I noticed your post.  The Pure Hammer sounds like something I could probably use.  I'm going to watch for a little more feedback, and possibly pick one up before leagues start.

Exactly.  My Hickland edited his post.  He originally stated the RG was 2.28, below the legal linit of 2.43.  I quoted his original post trying to avoid  confusion.  Guess it didn't work.  lol.

I've got one for sale... it just doesn't fit my game for the condition for what I need.

15lb. Right handed. 3 games at most. PIN is centered above both fingers and CG is kicked 1" right of griep center. 3" PIN Placement. No track. No plugs. Finger inserts and thumb slug. Span is right at 4 1/4" on both fingers. Absolute MINT SHAPE!!!

--There is one thing about the PURE HAMMER... the bridge actually meets. You know how most balls have a 1/4" bridge between the 2 finger inserts? Well on this ball the finger inserts actually touch each other slightly... it's really no big deal though. Just wanted to let you know about it. This ball was drilled by a friend whose a driller for some of the Pros and Regional guys... so this ball does have "scribe" lines for the span on it.

Don't have a picture. I have a 100% positive feedback on ballreviews.com and a 100% positive feedback rating with over 80 positives on EBAY.com.
