Title: pure hammer burgandy vs blue vibe

ok my fellow hammer heads which one would handle lesser volume of oil and fried tournament conditons?

The Pure Hammer definetly would. You would be way better off going with that since it's urethane, too. The Vibe would be a little too much for the conditions your talking about..

The burgandy one is the smoothest of the two Pures, IIRC.  The black was supposed to be a urethane/reactive blend and it turned out to make a bigger move than expected.

plus the purple vibe is weaker(longer and for less oil) than the blue vibe

yeah i know but purple isnt my color lol

The Blue Vibe is a great ball, but can definitely be used for medium as well as light, depending on how you drill it.  I have mine drilled like this:

     CG       x-hole

    0

I just had the x-hole drilled last night because I wanted to tame it down.  Now it should fit in between my U-Turn Reactive and Tropical Storm.  Great ball and great hit.
