A little info on two new Hammers
« on: October 06, 2005, 06:40:46 AM »
The Hawg Wild is a Black/Orange 4000-grit wetsand CT Reactive cover.  Its core is a modified version of what was in the Hawg, I think.  It's fatter in the middle and the bottom has an extension bulb of sorts.

The other ball will be the Raw Hammer Doom.  The only thing I know about it is that it will be Red/White.  It looked like a reactive pearl coverstock and I have no idea what the core looks like or what line/price range it's in.

I got to throw these new balls today.  The Hawg Wild is alot stronger overall than the Hawg was for me.  Gets down the lane and makes a good move on the backend.  We have heavy oil in the middle at our center and the ball was able to handle it.  I would like to see what the ball will do if you put 1000 grit abralon on it.  Out of the box, I feel like this give me more angle then my Big Deals, and can handle just as much oil.

As for the Doom, it is a long and strong ball made for lighter oil patterns. I threw it will my Big Rig Diesel.  The Doom goes longer and makes a harder move to the pocket.  I think both balls are a great addition to the Hammer Line Up.
