Where are the holes?

OK, after taking in all of your input about my proposed all-Hammer arsenal, I've made some changes and now am looking at going like this:

Flood-Heavy: Real Deal
Med-Heavy: Sharp Blade
Medium: Blade Solid (Polished)
Medium: Blade Pearl (Polished)
Med-Light: Pure Hammer
Burnt-Spares: Big Blue Spare (on the way from Toon)

OK, keeping 6 balls would be ideal as that is how many I have room for in the bag. Nevertheless, I'd be open to suggestions for others. Since I have a few balls to sell, I may pick up a Saw Blade and/or a Deal. Then again, maybe I'll just wait and see what the Big Deal is all about. In any event, which of the med-light pieces do you guys think would make the best choice? I have possible deals in the works that could bring any of the three. I'm leaning toward the Sling Blade, as I have loved just about every ball in the Blade series, but I'm not sure. Let me know what you guys think. Your input will go a long way toward helping me make my final decision.

Sling blade is a great ball but it hooks especially on the backend.  I rate is stronger than the blade pearl but thats just me.  For your weakest right above plastic I would keep the Pure in there it is great and vastly under appreciated/underated.  If you want something right above that I would go with the blade pearl/viscious pearl/deal then a sling blade then a solid blade or something else but you really don't have many options without serious overlap above the dry in the light medium section.

I should just quit bowling, oh wait I already tried that.

Gene, I have a Sling Blade and I agree with JPR that it hooks a ton on the backend as long as there isnt a big load of carry down or just extremely poor back-ends. Its an extremely agressive ball on the back-end that goes thru the heads really clean. For a ball above your BB spare, I would go with the Pure Hammer.

Thanks for the replies so far. I had some of the same impressions on the Sling Blade. That ball makes a violent turn when it hits dry. If I were to go with that one, I was thinking of putting the pin over the bridge and the cg on or just left of the midline. That, or maybe even going with something like pin axis. In either case, I planned on polishing the hell out of it and making sure to drill it for a controllable back end. No matter, though, the Pure Hammer still sounds like the better choice, and that's probably what I'll go with. Thanks for the input. I'd still like to hear from others, so feel free to chime in with any thoughts that you've got.

I love the Sling Blade for medium light patterns.  It gets my vote, just above the Pure Hammer.  I like the PH but I had to slow my speed down a little too much for my liking.

By the way, if you get a Deal that is new with the in-box finish, I recommend scuffing it some to take that off.  You'll get much better movement and predictability.
