Legend-Star already has a video of it posted. However, it is an overseas ball at the moment; called the Amazing Scandal.

If that makes it here, that would be nice to see.

Was this before or after the Pursuit series? Because otherwise, EBI should have been served with a C&D for the Pursuit-S.

Damn. Did they really? I thought it would just be on the marvel name, not like individual letters.  Those jokers!!!

There aren't going to be any names left, before u know it the companies will just use combos of letters and numbers, LOL....wait, nvm.

Marvel-S came out after, but the Pursuits weren't worth filing the C&D paperwork out for.

Don't blame you. Those two were hard pills to swallow, especially as that was when they started to lose it and had to go back to the lab to figure out what to do.

Scandal Pearl is definitely getting into my bag.

Though I am now kicking myself in the head regarding the Maverick. I say that because less than 3 weeks ago I picked up the Warrior Supreme. But I'll still hold fire on it and see how it rolls, seeing that it's a solid.

I have to wonder specifically on Ebonite's part, in releasing the Maverick so quickly after the hype of the Mission Unknown. Timing wise, the Maverick would just get lost..  ???

Hammer's FB page has a short clip of Stef Johnson throwing the Scandal Pearl. Looks damn good on the lane. Doesn't help that Stef is a nice, clean release, and rolls beautifully.

I don't know if anyone here has thrown it yet, but I'll put this out there anyway.

For those who have thrown the Scandal Pearl, would there be any overlap between this and the Mission Unknown? Still not knowing much about the GB 12.7 coverstock and knowing that the Unknown is asymmetrical, the Scandal Pearl is also an angular ball, symmetrical, and is truly a pearl.

A pearl is the only thing missing in my bag, and while I have the Unknown coming, I'm wondering if I may have some overlap in performance between these two balls that I may want to avoid.

Thoughts?

Well, after drilling mine last night and throwing it on 2 different patterns, I can tell you that this ball rolls so similar to the Scandal, but about 4-5 boards weaker for me. Maybe the layout that I used on this ball might have added a little extra length, but overall, I am loving the motion that I am seeing with this ball. Very clean with a strong continuous motion in the backends with a controlled skid/flip pop too... I know that sounds weird...

I threw a few shots with my RebeL & Arson High Flare Solid along with this and the Scandal Pearl was longer, when my AHF Solid started burning up and was stronger than my RebeL at the spot. This fits perfectly for what I was looking for. Love my AHF Solid & RebeL for a 1-2 punch, but sometimes the RebeL is a touch too much in the backends, the Scandal Pearl, blended that motion and fits in between.

I hope this helps... Will provide a review on this ball next week, after a few weekend tourneys!

Hey Micheal. What should I put with the scandal and scandal pearl? From what I already have.

Red legend Pearl
Viral Solid
Blue urethane

I'm a two hander

All of them would be my vote. That'd be a decent 5 ball arsenal if you didn't see a lot of breakdown

The Scandal Pearl is less in the backend than the Rebel? I can see how longer might be possible but I would have seriously thought it should be more in the back not less.

I threw it again last night and it might have been the user error in the night before...  One of my friends said that I was throwing it a little too hard :) LOL    the Scandal Pearl is definitely stronger than the RebeL and does have a strong backend finish on the ball too...
The RebeL does get down the lane a lot longer and has a nice controlled skid/flip motion... and the Scandal Pearl is about 4-5 boards stronger overall than the RebeL for what I saw last night.

DJGOOK - The Scandal & Scandal Pearl will definitely be great additions to your current arsenal and will have everything you will see on the lanes!

But will it finish without over/under in carry down? pearl coverstock makes me think no but now a days...that might not mean much.

The Scandal Pearl still has a strong core, so it blends the pattern more than having over/under problems... this ball also can handle a little more oil than a standard pearl ball too. You will be quite impressed with this ball if you need something for the medium / heavier medium lane patterns.

That grey Scandal looks sick. What are the specs on it, if you know?

And is C300 bringing back the Piranha line? that was a good line in the 90s. Next thing you know, they'll bring back the Quake and Aftershock lines.

And the BW Gold CFI is so much eye candy.   8)

Put the pin below the fingers and it will be a slower response to friction which would make it smoother, but still strong downlane
