I'll try to add some input just from watching my team mate bowl for the first time in league with the ball. I have the Big Blue so perhaps I can add some comments by comparison. My team mate is throwing 14# equipment -- he's been through about four balls since Xmas (wish I had that kind of disposable income). We are bowling on 30 year old wood lanes --- Oil is 10 to 10 down about 35' (not buffed) Med-to Med/?Heavy oil --- First shift mixed league --- casual bowlers, but also a lot of high average men and women in the league as well -- probably a 50-50 mix. He is R/Handed but likes to stand on the left side of the lane and throw the ball out -- he does not put a lot of hand in the ball --- he's got a fairly generic drill on the ball --- nothing sophisticated. (The house shot favors the inside-out rather than straight-up players, IMO). I'd say maybe the 12 board, then adjust inward from there for best results). He left an awful lot of 10 pins with the last ball (maybe not the ball so much as his angle of attack, so I won't mention the name of the ball) --With the BBP it seems like he can keep the ball "in play" more --- swing from the third arrow or maybe the 13 board (at the arrows) out maybe six-seven boards farther down the lane, ane then the BBP will arc back into the pocket for him --- definitely not a "snap" --- maybe "agressive arc" would be a better description. Ball goes long but still hit hard for him w/good carry -- he did not have the 10 pin problems with this ball.
