PAINful at the Pins
« on: September 11, 2006, 02:55:34 PM »
After bowling my 5th game and 2nd 200 with the Pain, I can say that this is WILL be the first ball out of my bag.  It is such a great compliment to my Equation.  I had it drilled with pin under ring and cg kicked out to be just about mid line.  Playing straight up between 10 and 15, this ball makes such a smooth and controllable arc to the pocket.  I now have a ball that I can throw with a little more muscle and not be afraid of it passing the break point.  I only got to play 2 games with it tonight, and went for 189 and 200...I know I could have scored more but I left some weird splits.

Will update more as games progress.

I've seen a lot of people getting good reactions out of this one.  I drilled one up for my brother and he had 750 the first night out.  Too bad I shot 810 with my Awesome Hook!!!

I forgot to mention that this ball carries soo well and the pin action is great.  I threw it wide once and hit the 2-4 pocket, got a strike.  I'll be getting a Widow within the next two weeks.  If it drives and carries as well as the Pain, Hammer will have definitely won me over.  Im more excited about this ball than the first time I threw my Equation.

The Pain is one awesome ball.  I had to trade in my stacked leverage one because it was too strong.  So I have another Pain coming.  The new Pain is going to be drilled pin above the bridge 5.5" from pap and the cg kicked right to 1oz of side and no balance hole.  With this layout the ball should be perfect and useable on more conditions.

And to think you sat on that ball so long while drilling the Radical and such...

I'm not a bowler, but I do play one on Ballreviews.

I know, my equipment craze gets the best of me.  At least I didnt spend more than 100 bucks on any of it.  Within the next couple of weeks my proshop says they should have the BW pearl (if it comes out) coz they get stuff like a month to month in a half advanced for testing and review.  I have it reserved for myself already =)

Will be drilling up a regular Widow soon as well.  Hammer and Track all the way!
