Switch Blade?
« on: October 25, 2005, 09:17:51 AM »
Here is my current arsenal:

Heavy: Total Shock & Awe
Med-heavy: Real Deal
Med (skid-flip): Blade Reactive (polished)
Med (solid): Hi Rev
Med (pearl): Absolute Inferno or Storm Paradigm
Med-light (skid-flip): Vicious Pearl
Med-light (solid):??????
Med-light (pearl): Blade Pearl of Blazing Inferno
Light: Bullet
Spares: Target Zone

I'm looking for a solid ball for medium light. Would the Switch Blade be a good choice here? What do you guys/gals think? Also, do you think the Raw Hammer Doom would make a better choice than the Vicious Pearl? Any help you all could give would be appreciated.

i can chime in on the switch blade....personally i think it would fit the bill very well, mine was good on the condition you have listed....backend must have some play it hated carrydown though...mine also had a tendancy to be a little flippy on the fresh (which is what i liked about it) even though i put some what of a rolly drilling on it

as for the doom ill leave that to those who have one

I drilled mine with a weaker layout and it clears the heads well and does backend more now

for Med-light you could use the Switch, but for that condition I would suggest hitting the cover with an abralon pad to knock the shiny factory surface off.

Doom-  If you are looking for skid flip then Doom is the ball for you, for that condition.   I will out skid and WAY out flip a  V pearl.   No comparison really.
