Would that be very close to a Black Widow Pearl?

I purchased one at the Hammer booth at Reno the 1st weekend of the tourney. Was told it has a Gas Mask Core with the First Blood Coverstock and its an International Release. I think I seen on their Facebook page it is now sold out at the booth. Before I purchased it I was told it would be longer with a stronger backend then my Taboo Blue/Silver and it is. I havn't thrown it too much yet (pulled a muscle in my throwing arm last week in league) but once I get back to bowling I'll get it broken in.

I was actually going to say something similar, but you beat me to it!

I would call this more of a much stronger Taboo Jet Black. Should snap more, making wheeling a lot more exciting to watch.

most production runs are 500

But this was a "International Release" so it could have been a normal run overseas and a few got into the States.

It was a normal overseas release. The LE doesn't mean anything its just part of the name. Usually a few from any company at any time end up in the US, many times x-outs will be released here.

Yeah I know the LE was just part of the name but how would someone know if it was a "x-out"? I purchased mine at the Hammer booth at the Nationals earlier this year and nothing was said about it being an x-out or blem. Also nothing on the box about it being anything other than a normal ball.

As far as I know the booth at Nationals doesn't sell xouts. It will be marked on the ball and box.

You say Taboo core... I say Gas Mask core.  They have identical numbers...

One in the same.  The Taboo core IS the Gas Mask core used in the Widow and Taboo lines.
What would you be if you were attached to another object by an inclined plane, wrapped helically around an axis?

I'm almost willing to bet a NIB 15# Black Widow that the core molds have been the same since the Big Blue...  The Big Deal was where they added a flip block to the mix, so this core has been around since 2005.
