Replacing my Raw Hammer Anger
« on: May 20, 2010, 10:33:46 AM »
This ball has been so good to me,, what current hammer line would replace it.. I have it drilled under ring with CG kicked out 2" right, with 1000 on it..
This ball doesn't work at my current lanes, but in tourneys I have been averaging over 230.. It has just been a great ball, but getting a lot of games on it.. Loves oil,,,

The jacked would be fairly similar, maybe a little more response downlane due to the different coverstock but it should be close.

The Acid taken down to 1000 grit would be spot on as they share the same coverstock(Max-Hook reactive) with similar core strength and are still available. The Jacked would be close as the others have stated with alittle more jump on the backend.

Yeah dude... you're telling me... mine cracked in half...
Looking for any 14lb Hammers, particularly older oddball stuff.
So if you have a 14lb Faball or Diesel or Vicious or Blade or Hawg laying around shoot me a PM

You are right that would probably be a better replacement.

Thanks for the Info... I'm liking the Jacked... Has that ball had any issues with oiling up... I do clean the balls after each night of league with Clean"n"Dull.. I have baked the Anger once..  I know that some of the Hammer Widow line has that issue..

All these high porous modern coverstocks particularly dull, are going to asborb oil and need an extaction once in a while.
