Title: The Chalk
Post by: Trhino8992 on February 17, 2009, 05:22:57 AM
Hammer is releasing a new ball called The Chalk. It is reactive resin and is all white hence the name. Thats all the info I have at this time.

a guy had this ball at league last night...it's a pretty cool-looking ball.  It's all white and charcoal color and the lettering is white/silver.  I didn't see him throw it as he threw his virtual gravity all night but he said he's pretty excited about it.  From what he was saying it will probably be in between the widows and vibes, a big hole that hammer has needed to fill for a while...it's nice to see them come out with something other than what they claim will be the most hooking ball in this galaxy.

This is, in Hammer's words, an EXTREMELY limited edition ball only for TNBA members.

TNBA members can purchase them at a TNBA tournament, or through their members only program.

Brunswick did something similar last year in Paris with a very limited edition "Étoile" ball (PK18 pearl on Scorchin' Inferno core, nothing fancy) in Paris.

I know that sounded racist, but I'm somewhat serious about the question. It just sounded weird to me.

Too bad its not going public...

The Chalk could be a cool name, kinda like the Sauce has become.  Sounds weird at first, but ...

The AMF XS was a fun ball to have. The only exception was how dirty it got. I didn't think anyone would ever come out with a white ball again. I still have my XS. I should shine it up for chits and giggles and use it Wednesday.

I've had three XS balls. If you keep them polished, they stay sufficiently clean, but if you want to roll them sanded or in a matte finish they'll look like an ashtray in no time flat.

I still use one from time to time and it's a monster. One of Mo Pinel's finest works.
