Title: the Doom and polish
Post by: bigdawgwill44 on March 28, 2008, 04:33:03 AM
I bowl in a fairly dry house with all the oil in the middle and lately i've notice the doom hasn't been snapping like it used to on the back end, but i only have like 20 some games on it. Should i put some polish on it so it finishes harder? What do you suggest? Thanks

Keep your ball clean by cleaning it (at least) when you finish bowling every day/night.

I was having a problem similar to what you describe with my Doom. For now, I'd suggest cleaning it and hitting it with 4000 grit abralon.

Keep it clean, and remember that polish should add some length AND backend snap also.

If you want to keep the DOOM in box condition then you should put a coat of polish on it every 10 games or so.  Buy ebonites factory finish polish.
