Hammer Vibe Set Up?
« on: August 04, 2009, 06:11:38 AM »
so after testing and trying out a lot of companies and each of their lines(low priced, mid priced, etc.) ive come to a conclusion that the lower end stuff works best for me. the vibes are probably the best ball i've thrown in a while other than my one series by ebonite. i've been running into some problems with oily conditions. i was reading a while back that people used to drill blue vibes and dull them up and it would work great in oil? i was thinking about make this set up. tell me what you guys think.

Rayzr (Dry and also used for spares)
Emerald Vibe (Medium drilled more skid flip with lots of backends)
Cherry or Blue Vibe (Medium drilled more even)
Onyx Vibe (Heavy oil drilled strong and dulled up)

Don't hesitate to drill your cherry VIBE weak, maybe even a negative CG.  You'd be suprised the great look you'd get, I love mine, especially on tough conditions....

I would suggest using it OOB first and then go from there 'cause it might be dine the way it is.

Btw, I'll be using mine tonight for the first time too, and it will be OOB condition.....good luck!

Hammerhead...

think i can use it on heavier conditions with the right surface prep? was also looking at the jigsaw. but the onyx is a lot cheaper and like i said before, i seem to do better with the lower end stuff.
