Truck
« on: November 17, 2007, 12:19:15 PM »
I saw a Hammer Truck on a used ball rack.  I can't find it in any ball reviews.  Can anyone tell me the specs on this ball?...Thanks

See http://www.bowlingballreviews.com/ball.asp?ballid=1194

Mo's last ball for Faball just before it closed down and sold the Hammer name to Ebonite. Strong ball at the time, in Mo's tradition. Excellent strong move with control and power. Currently it would be for medium-heavy oil. There's a LOT to like in this ball, if drilled correctly for your PAP like all asymmetric/mass bias balls. I still have my 15 lb one saved (I went back to 16 lbs a while back.), because this ball was just that good. Think of a NightHawk on steroids.

Not sure I would call the ball Medium to heavy oil with OOB finish.

The ball was advertised as that though, but the cover is more than easily altered to give the desired reaction.

I've gotta get some more time in with mine as it's just not up to the same standards in terms of consistency and roll as my Sledge or Hi-Rev.
