Is there a Hammer Particle offering?
« on: January 03, 2007, 04:32:24 AM »
I feel one thing my arsenal could maybe use is a particle ball for a smoother reaction.  I really like the smooth reaction of my Pain, but it can be a little strong at times so I'd like something to go under it with a controllable, smooth reaction.  I can't think of any Hammers that would fit that bill, and I'm considering a RG Venus.

If you aren't watching 'The Wire,' the government should be forced to come to your house and repossess your television. END OF STORY!

Mr. Lebowski, this is Bill Salnicker with the Southern Cal Bowling League, and I just got a, an informal report, that a member of your team, uh, Walter Sobchak, drew a firearm during league play. If this is true of course, it contravenes a number of the league's by-laws, and article 27 of the league...

Isnt the Toxic particle pearl?  If not, then the RG Venus, Storm Pyro, or Track Heat Blast (reactive, not particle) are all WAYYY smooth.

Anything with Cut-throat on it?  The Big Deal was a particle ball, but probably just as strong as the Pain, if not stronger.  CT is very strong, so even the CT Blades might be too much.

If you're not too set on Hammer and looking for something milder, I think Noy's right, the Venus might be your best bet.  Or the new DT Crisis Solid would be smooth and not real jumpy.

There is nothing offered from hammer which is a particle ball. It seems to me that Ebonite/Hammer is straying away from anything particle even tho ebonite has the Smash Time. Thats one ball out of 30 or so in  production now (between both hammer and ebonite), so i wouldnt expect something particle anytime soon.

But now that i mention it a Smash Time might do the trick. Drilling with pin and cg closer to ur pap than your other equpiment it should work well.

There's also the Big Blue.  I never threw the Big Blue Pearl but heard that it's got a bit more backend bite than the Big Blue.

You also had the Blade Particle, Razor Blade, Saw Blade, Sharp Blade, Real Deal and Vicious Particle as other Particle balls.  There were also some particle pearls thrown in.

If you want something that's going to react under the Pain, try and look into a Big Blue.  Ball wasn't a bad ball at all.....just mid-advertised in some ways.  Had a nice controlled arc and for me, loved being played down and in.
