sanding bw

has anyone sanded the bw below 1000 grit.what is the reaction like.my bw at 1000 is still to skid flippy.

If there is no weight hole, you could have one drilled to mellow the reaction.  Another alternative is to keep stepping down the grit until you are satisfied.  Try 800, then 600, 500, etc until you find something that works with your game.
