Hazard mini review
« on: July 29, 2008, 10:46:22 AM »
Well I drilled my Hazard up and tossed some practice games with it. I drilled it with a 5" pin to pap, pin over fingers. Hart is in the first 2 or 3 flare rings. I left the factory finish on it. On a fresh (just oiled) ths playing from 25 to a breakpoint of 6 the ball gets excellent length and makes a very strong move to the pocket, which is about what I expected since it's a pearl ball. It hooks about as much as my No Mercy (#4 drilling) but about 2' to 3' farther down the alley. I'll be using it in league tomorrow and will see how it works when people are pushing oil all over the place.

So many questions, so little time but I''m having fun.

I really like the look I'm getting with the Hazard. Playing 25 to 8, gets to the breakpoint easily and then makes a hard arc to the pocket. Excellent pin carry and mix. I had to put it away when it started drying out because I don't have the revs to play any deeper. All in all I'm glad I got it. Plus, it looks great going down the alley.
