experimenting

I have a Toxic and a No Mercy. Most of you folks on the Hammer board are not used to seeing me here. I was Track Staff for 3 years.

I will be throwing each and posting mini reviews very soon. I have quite a few games on the No Mercy so far and I am pleased. The Toxic I have barely a game on, and I will reserve comments until I get a chance to use it more.

What are your thoughts on these 2?

Welcome Carl to our little world inside the Hammer Forum.

We look forward to reading your reviews.

NM-One of the strongest balls I have ever thrown.  I have drilling #3 and the ball is an abolute truck.

Toxic- Strong, 'nuff said.

Thank You,
Chris

Carl, it's good to see you rolling some other equipment.  Ebonite did a very good job with Hammer.  I'm sure there going to do a great job with Track.  Just hang tight bud.

TOXIC:  The TOXIC has a lot of built in length in it's box condition.  It also has a vry big back end move.  Once this ball hit's any dry boards it's gone.  It's hard to control the break point with this ball.

I didn't like the TOXIC at all.  I tried it on both your THS and some tough patterns.  I put about 30 games on mine and tried different cover preps and still didn't like it.

There are three balls in the Raw Hammer series and this one doesn't even compare to the other two.  The DOOM handles the same conditions that the TOXIC does but it's a much better ball.  If you get a chance to try out the DOOM; do it!

NO MERCY:  The NM is an awesome bowling ball.  This ball works well on long patterns that have a good amount of oil.  I have found this ball to be versatile.  It can work on a lot of different patterns.  It kills your THS and work very well on tough patterns.

The NM has a strong mid-lane read and equally strong back end reaction.  This ball hit's and carry's better than any ball I have ever seen.

HAMMER NO MERCY is Un-freaking real!  Using this ball is like cheating!

have no mercy myself....threw 19 in row to start league 1st time out w/it!...then carry down killed it...just like reye's on tv...started leaving every single pin imagineable...refused to change balls...changed roll's 3x's...nothing worked!

still very pleased...can play on almost all patterns...#1 drill...but when she quits...she quits!

ps...from what I've seen...toxic...skate's more in oil...but stronger/more angular off the dry!

i dont own a no mercy, but the toxic is a quality ball. I use it on most conditions. I have used it @ college tournaments as well as on THS. You will like this ball if you like a long skid snap reaction.

I have not thrown the No-Mercy.

I own a Toxic however. I'll have to agree with Chitown. This ball has a lot of length, but can be over/under in oob condition. The breakpoint is hard to control, so I have to up my speed and throw with a firm hand. Shot 278 with it on a lite-oil shot oob, but have struggled with it on every other condition.

Planning to take the surface down a little and see what happens. Would've been better as a particle pearl. It does take off on the back-end, when it hits the dry.

Hi have a No mercy and just got a toxic about 2 weeks ago. My no mercy has the #1 drilling, this ball is a beast on oil, but once the lanes break down or there is significant carydown put the ball in the bag. That why I bought my toxic, I needed a ball that can get through the heads clean and still have a great backend reaction. Since I have good speed between 19 and 20MPH the strong snap on the toxic at the backend works great for me. Some people don't like then sharp break but if you have good ball speed you'll love it.
