I can honestly say that this ball raised my average mid-season by 8 pins, felt like cheating. More specifically, it made the target area bigger and still carried quite well

I threw mine yesterday and Wow! am I glad I got it. I too have had weird results with hi-end pearls but this one is really good IMHO.

I recently drilled this up.  Box finish it rolled very similar to me Real One, so I changed it to 4000 with polish.  It is now a nice step down when the Real One starts to become too much, I can switch to this and not moving at all and I get the extra length needed and all is good.  It’s not a hook monster for me.  I have been leery of Hammer as the last ones I had were flat 10 beasts!  LOL.  Not this one!  So far a real pleasant surprise.

I got mine in a summer equipment league. Punched it up and immediately HATED IT! Put it down and did not touch it for two months because I was having a ball with my Paradox which I had also obtained in the league!

Flash forward to league play and my new teammate is shooting 250+ week after week with his ball. I ask him what he's using and he says, the Gauntlet Fury!!! I'm like WOW!! I have one but I don't like the reaction. He says, give it another try......but let the nature of the ball do it's thing!! Don't help it.....it doesn't need help!

So I pull it back out and start using it with a real simple, up the back release. No turn of any kind just let it roll. After realizing it's a skid/snap piece and quite different from all my other equipment, I proceed to shoot 645, 700, and 684 sets with this ball!!!

I am now in LOVE with this ball and am finding it hard to put down! Love it on medium conditions as well as medium heavy!!! I recently tried it on a light oil condition and was able to hook the whole lane for a game and a half!!

Yup! This ball is a keeper for sure! It has some serious backend power!!
Some days you're the bug....some days you're the windshield...that's bowling!
