Hammer presents first "R" rated product...
« on: August 28, 2014, 04:29:03 PM »
Does anyone know what's going on with this? They released a video on Facebook and Youtube and it confused me more than intrigued me lol.

Maybe the R rated stands for "Rip Off?"

Some of you may have be a little over critical about the ball.

The name isn't something I'm concerned about. I'm looking at the core first and it reminds me of the core from Storm's IQ balls and the RG/Diff looks similar to them as well. Just at a glance though. I'm intrigued, not because of the promotion but because I want to see what they can do moving forward. I haven't been disappointed with the purchases I have made from them yet so I don't see a reason to be overly critical. Before you buy ANY ball do your research before you make the purchase so you will be satisfied.

Just my 2 cents. I want to see some more vids and some reviews but I am looking at this ball as well as a few others.

Assuming you're talking about the IQ Tour balls and not the original, the RG/Diff for #15 are 2.49/0.29 which is a little different from the 2.48/0.48 of the Bad Ass. The shapes are similar in idea but the Spheroid core looks to be a little more wider/rounded which I think would lead to a more even reaction depending on coverstock and surface prep.

Lol I'm just trying to figure out what's so bad@ss.  Lol looks like a rehashed centripetal core lol.

Look at the divergent path on bowling ball.com  now that's bad@ss! Especially the core...
