What would you like to see from Hammer in the near future?
« on: January 28, 2009, 05:29:57 AM »
What kind of bowling balls would you like to see from Hammer in the near future?

I wish Hammer would make a VIBE with a strong solid reactive cover.  I would also like to have the exact core and specs as the other Vibes.  So basically just add a strong cover.

I think it would be a big seller at the VIBES price point.

My Blue Vibe with it's cover brought down to 1000 grit handled heavier oil pretty well.   I could only imagine how strong it would be with a stronger cover than the Blue Vibe.

The Blue Vibe is still one of the best bowling balls i've ever owned.

a hook monster like a resurgence or virtual gravity shift.

from what ive seen the sauce is strong but on longer and heavier stuff its not as strong as advertised.

Personally I had the Black Widow and the Black Widow Bite and loved them both. What I would like is a ball with that kind of reaction that would last more than 50 games before losing its reaction. I am not the only person that had those balls that had the same complaint. But those balls were great balls out of the box.

I'd like a black or dark coloured Psycho. That bright orange is insane. But the ball rolls sick.

Also a solid razyr.

just bring back the blue vibe, buy a case of them, alter the surface on all of them and you have a ball that can cover just about anything

Vibe core in the original black widow coverstock.

I'd put that crap at 2000 and have a field day. My problem, though, was longevity. Only got about 40 games out of the BW before it went south.

Toxic core in a CT cover. Blue Vibe, Hawg Wild were both CT covers, great balls.

I would like to see:

1.)Pure Hammer (the black one preferably but any color would be ok)
2.)Blue Vibe re make
3.)Something with a medium-strong core and a weak cover (the opposite of the Razyr)

Overall Hammer's line is missing a ball with a weak cover, they have nothing for rev-dominate players to use on toast (we would like something better than the rayzr which is to angular when shined and doesn't hit when dull)

Hammer could easily address this problem.  All they need is a urethane cover with the VIBE core.  Now that would work very well.

I have a Scout High Flare Urethane ball.  It's the strawberry/ blue colored one.  This ball works great on toasted conditions.  Plus this ball has excellent pin action and carry on dry lanes.  Plenty of energy at the pins.  This Scout doesn't have the pancake weight block.  It actually has a decent core and differential in it.

Maybe Hammer should just make a Black urethane Hammer remake.
