Wanted to see what 2 balls you guys would recommend for medium/oily to med/dry. I have heard possibly the doom and pain. Is the doom good on medium to dry lanes? let me know
Thanks

The Doom and Pain are the best two ball combo I have ever owned. If you are thinking of buying these two then your making a great choice.
I would recommend drilling them exactly the same. Just put your favorite layout on them and be good to go.
The Pain can handle heavier conditions without a problem. The Doom can handle med to light oil.
The Doom is not a dry lane ball. In fact on true dry lanes there isn't any reactive ball that will work great. Maybe on wood lanes but not on synthetic.
Now the only time I ever encountered lanes that my Doom would not work was when I would practice late at night during the summer and the alley did not oil the lanes for a few days.
My Pain and Doom are drilled with the pin above the bridge(5.5" from pap) cg kicked right to 1oz of side and no balance hole. This is my favorite layout and it works great with these two balls.

I would agree with chitown I recently picked both up and they are great. Drilled both exactly the same pin above bridge cg straight down both very smooth and controllable I LOVE THE COMBO!!!
