i know dynodaddy, i didn't know that i would get this kind of response out of people. hammer guys are sensitive.

Went bowling a couple days ago and it was the first time I've seen Hammer balls in action.  The guy was throwing a Big Block Diesel, Big Blue Pearl, Big Blue, Big Blue Spare, and Pure Hammer.  I wasn't overly impressed with the reactions of the Big Blue and Pure Hammer as they seemed to not pick up on the lane very well.  They also hit quite weak.  The Big Blue Pearl was a decent ball, seemed like it had good midlane read and great backend reaction, but the Big Block Diesel IMO was the best.  It picked up on the slightest of dry and would turn back in and carry very well.  Having that said, I don't think someone should judge a company on one or two balls.  Each and every company has their highs and lows and some balls are better matched to different people's 'style' or playing.  

Mmmmm, Oreos.......!  What do you prefer, Oreos or Chips Ahoy (or anything else)?

BTW, I bought a hammer today. It cost me $2.00

Makes a great door stop!!!any one have a paper wt?

I almost forgot. I was in Sears and the guy said that Hammer sucks and craftsmen is better...Irony for you HAMMER GEEKS!!

What are you some sort of bowling ball professor???  Who are you to judge a certain brand???  You tried what one ball???  It seems to me that you weren't capable enough to adjust.  You just had to rush to the conclusion that Hammer itself sux!!!  Since we're exressing opinions here...here's my opinion on you....I think your a chucklehead!!!!!

regarding the original post, i can only say that anyone who thinks that hammer sucks probably has an IQ bordering on moronic . . .

regardless of which brand you make think is the best, any semi-intelligent bowler would have to agree that hammer has one of the best overall arsenals on the market.  i do wish they had not discontinued all of the vicious series, however.  IMHO, i don't think the big blues and the deal take the place of that awesome selection . . .

Hammer is pretty darn good!!!
