Raw Hammer Line...

What is the difference between the Anger, Doom and Toxic?  Where did the Pain fit in?  I have heard good things about them, but, I'm not sure which ball should be used for what situation.  Any insight?

Anger - Heavy oil
Pain - heavy ( not as much heavy as the Anger IMO )
Toxic - Med to Med/Heavy
Doom - med to lighter side of med ( not a true light oil, but lighter )

Keep in mind, changing the covers will change the amount of oil any ball can/will handle.

I have a Pain and a Toxic, thrown the Doom and for the money, best balls in the Hammer group, for the money spent.

All great balls at a great value. The Anger is a heavy oil monster, and a fraction of the price of the "big namers". The Toxic is backend city! Very strong pearl for sure.

For me, the Doom overlaps with my Black Widow Pearl with the same layout.

Agreed.

In total amount of boards covered, I'd agree with your list but I find the Doom to be in between the Anger and Toxic in terms of length and breakpoint shape.  The Anger is definitely the earliest rolling of the three, but the Toxic is longer and sharper at the break point than the Doom (for me at least - with identical layout and both at 4000 abralon).

Never threw the Pain, but from what I've seen of others throwing it, it is likely right where azguy has put it.
