Hammer Rebel question
« on: January 19, 2017, 01:51:09 PM »
Is this ball similar to the Track Cyborg Pearl or the Ebonite GB-2 Phenom Pearl?  Would it be good for medium to slightly dry lanes?

It's much smoother and weaker, but those other two are fairly strong so it's not a knock on the Rebel.

The Rebel fits below the Cyborg & GB2 Phenom Pearl... it handles the medium-lighter patterns and still flips pretty good down the lane. This is one of my favorite pieces from Hammer when I need on lighter volume patterns or when the lanes have dried up a bit.

Hope this helps!

Echo whats been said above
I took my rebel to 500 and than added polish again
It was just a bit to long and snappy with OBB finish
This smoothed out the reaction a little for me
the Cyborg pearl is stronger and more angular
the Phenom pearl is earlier, stronger and more arcing
