We''ve also Enriched our pearl Radioactive+ cover stock with 3% molecules of particles, diffusing lane oil for more traction. With up to 16 lbs. of nuclear power at your fingertips. The Enriched Uranium is an explosion waiting to happen.

I love this ball.  Bowled my best series 744 with this ball.
I have bowled for over 25 years and never had 3 consistent games like I did with this series.  Gonna try the HRG this week.

I've had this ball for the past 6 months and I have to say that it is the best ball that I own right now.  It reads the mid-lane very well and has always gotten through the heads without any problems.  It's a great medium-heavy oil ball and I can even get away with throwing it on lighter conditions if I stand far left and throw it at the #5 board.  It will stay down and find the pocket almost every time.  Yet another great design by Lane #1!

Ball: Lane 1 Enriched Uranium
Lane Conditions: Medium Oil
Typical Conditions: House Shot
Type of Lane: All Synthetic
Weight of bowling ball: 14-6
Top Weight:  2.7 oz.
Pin:  2"
Surface of bowling ball: Factory/Box

This ball has Unbelievable Pin Carry and Versatility. The perfect ball for my style. First ball out of my bag. Explosive carry. Throws pins every where. Extra clean thru the heads. Drives thru the pocket and never backs off or rolls out. Takes out the corner pins the best of any ball I have ever had.

I drilled it 4 1/4 x 3 1/2 with Pin under RF. Ball ended with 1 oz side weight so no weight hole required. This ball gets thru the heads the smoothest-cleanest of any ball I have ever had, and all the while it is revving hard and when it sniffs the dry, it turns and arcs VERY hard to pocket and never looks back. I've never had a ball that strikes as often as this ball does. Throw it too wide and it still makes it back to the pocket and strikes. Tug it and it holds and still hits the pocket and strikes.

I have had this ball a bit over a month and have approx 40 games on it and have yet to find a single negative thing about it. I have raised my average 14 pins in the 6 weeks I have had this ball. I did not have a 600 in this synthetic house this year prior to getting this ball. I have not bowled UNDER 600 in this Synthetic house since I have had this ball.

I'm a tweener
Pin under middle finger, X-hole under VAL @ 3 3/8"
(2 1/2 deep x 1 1/4")

I got this layout from Brunswick's Fury Video, I wanted to try something completely different from what I have.

I'm very please with this layout, in house shot, oil @ 38ft. goes long with ease and turn the corner hard... in fresh oil, 3 games and this baby still grabs the lane strong...

I'll try this ball in a more demanding and a little bit longer oil at the end of the month, I'll try to post more news about it.

Very nice ball...

Just got this used ball off ebay 2 weeks ago and finally came last week. Holes are too big and span is a little long but i just was curious on how it rolled so i bowled with it last night. I have to say this is a powerful ball when it hits light. It seemed when i buried the pocket, i mean buried the pocket, the 10 pin just laughed at me. I am getting this ball and the 4 others i got plugged this week and will give a more detailed review on them next week after my travel league and regular league. I will be reviewing the EU, Solid Uranium, Pearl Uranium, Dirty Bomb, and SuperNova.

I drilled this ball up as an experiment, just to see what it would do. I have it drilled pin under, CG right in the palm, and all I can say is wow: rollout!

For whatever reason, this ball rolls out horribly unless you play it straight up the boards. Any time you try and turn the ball, even a little, it rolls out horribly. The thing is: this ball carries everything, rollout or not! It's absolutely amazing. In 40 games with this ball, I can't remember leaving a 10 pin I didn't deserve, and I have NEVER left a pocket split with it!

I would reccommend this ball if you just want to pick it up to experiment with, but for actually bowling with, the ball isn't suitable for everyone, and there are multiple balls which would be better suited for most lane conditions.

* 15-lb. ball drilled 3 x 3.5
* Surface at box, with light buff

Bought this one used and ended up with a shorter pin than I would cared to have gotten. I got this ball because I've owned two Lane #1 balls in my life, a Buzzsaw C/2 Pearl (great experience) and a Gold Nugget (horrible experience). I wanted to see if the Gold Nugget was just an anomaly or if it was the beginning of a trend.

Unfortunately, my experience with the EU is more like the Nugget than the C/2 Pearl. The ball skates in oil too much, but also has a tendency to roll out to soon when it hits dry.

Oddly enough, though, I can move into the oil, slow the speed down and get the ball to read much differently than it does at normal speeds. Speed sensitivity is a pet peeve of mine in bowling balls; unfortunately, this ball has it.

Like the C/2 (and to a lesser extent, the Nugget), this ball also has some carry issues through the pindeck. Lots of flat-10s and back-row leaves that I didn't expect. A smidge high, and the 4-9 pops up more often than one would expect.

I'm still searching for a condition the ball is happiest on, but I don't know what else to try. I've used it on carrydown shots, dry lanes, medium lanes, and even somewhat heavy-oil shots, and consistency shot-to-shot is a big concern. The ball is not very forgiving in my hands. I probably will not try another of the Brunswick-shelled Lane #1 pieces if I can't figure something out and quick.

Got mine used off Ebay.  Title said it was one of Mark Roth's so i jumped on it.  Got it drilled 2 weeks ago and havent stopped throwing it since.  I had Beans drill it up with one of his fav layouts.  The layout is a control layout but it still hooks enough but its very controllable.  It hits like a tank 95% of the time.  Probably one of the better balls i have owned and thrown.  Would recommend to most bowlers.

Simply one of my favorite Lane #1 balls.  Bought NIB on eBay and was worth every penny.  Hits the pins like a truck.  The low RG design is still one of the best ever released by Lane #1.  Love the light load particle coverstock.  Excellent carry and recovery.  Midlane read is second to none....

Layout is 4 /1/2" X 4"

If you can find any of these around, and want a very versatile ball, I recommend you pick one up.  You definitely will not be sorry.

Self:
Right-handed tweener
High trak
300+ rpm
High axis rotation
Moderate tilt

Ball:
14lbs
3" pin
2000 grit

Drilling:
Pin 2 o'clock to ring finger
4.5" from PAP
CG in palm

Reaction:
I've had this ball for a few years now and have finally figured it out. Initially had the ball drilled up with pin below the bridge, CG kicked out, and that reaction gave me a very unpredictable reaction more times than not. Overhook inside, not enough outside. I redrilled the ball with a weaker drilling, pin above bridge and it has since made all the difference.

On the lanes, the Enriched is very clean through the heads and reads the dry very well on encounter. Revs up nicely and makes a strong but very smooth drive left. I've had great success playing on fresh oil with this ball, even on sport/college patterns. With its ability to get downlane and read the lane, it's a great piece on both fresh and broken down lanes. Carry is very good when matched up, as to be expected with Lane1. I've become a big fan of the Diamond and Bomb cores in recent years and the Enriched does not disappoint.

I bought the ball used and have since put many hundreds of games on the ball and it is still going strong. The Brunswick coverstocks have performed beautifully and I have only seen an increase in reaction out of them. The silver coverstock does however pick up belt marks and dirt fast than any ball I've thrown. In that sense, it does require a lot of maintenance to keep clean. Other than that, the ball has been a solid peformer. I am nothing but impressed. 9/10

1" pin label drilled, 15lbs,bowling on a 40' ths.

this ball is one of the unexpected monsters of the modern bowling era, also, one of the most underated.  this ball goes long and tears through the pocket like gangbusters.  the 2% particle coverstock is key on heavy mediums, spotty, and the viper patterns, combining skid/flip and roll/arc characteristics.

i leave mine in oob condition and it really does the job.

I am a 200 avg bowler and I have had nothing but success with this ball. No matter how I have been throwing it, finds the pins and puts them down. I have cranked it on some lanes and on others have thrown a down and in shot. It always seems to give me three to four boards of room to which i can throw it.  Great ball my brother-in-law recommended and i glad he did.

I have had this ball since it 1st came out has over 450+ games on it. pin over ring finger. This is my bench mark ball. Never shot an  Honor score with it I have 10 honor scores with other balls . But This Ball is very predicable I go to it now when I need something that will not over react. It has been resurfaced about 4 time and still works Great. If any one has a NIB EU 15# let me know how much you would like for it.
