Didn't buy this ball, but tested one that I was thinking of buying from a league bowler that I'm friends with. Specs:

I shot a low 700 the first time out of the box with this ball. It is one of the more unique saws that I've thrown, and I've thrown plenty. I liked the SD because it allowed me to do what my XL didn't like to do, go deep. My XL, which was drilled pin axis, was good for going up the boards on lighter conditions, but it really didn't like going deep inside that much, although it could. With the SD I was able to stand left and stroke the ball from deep inside and just watch it come ripping back. The SD went a bit further down the lane than the XL, but the backend was sick. This was by far the snappiest buzzsaw that I've thrown, yet the carry did not suffer. I think that this was a great matchup of core and coverstock, and it gives an option that a lot of other Lane 1 balls did not. If I didn't have too much gear already I would certainly have bought it. If you like to go deep without having to rip the cover off of the ball, pick this one up, if you can find one.
