Lane #1 Time Bomb Black Fire Video
« on: November 11, 2010, 12:10:00 PM »
Got a chance to throw this ball tonight, WOW! I was fortunate that they had freshly oiled the lanes right before I got there. I was throwing on a fresh medium-heavy THS on AMF HPL synethetic lanes. I drilled this ball a smidge stronger than I drilled my pearl Time Bomb, I assumed this would help make up the difference between the OOB surface. With the slightly stronger drilling and shiny surface, my Black Fire was about 3-4 boards weaker than the sanded Time Bomb pearl. The Black Fire was a little more angular on the backend, but I thought it was smoother off the spot. The Time Bomb was kind of reckless when it encountered friction for me, this ball didn't jump too hard; smooth, but still very aggressive. I only threw 3 games so I can't give a full blown review, but I like what I see so far. Excellent carry and continuation, smooth but aggressive, handles oil well even with the shiny cover. I think this ball will be a great tool for a number of bowlers.
