Did they overpay for it?
Would only be fitting!
Just kidding
Greatness
-
That is strange because the last time I was on the phone with a guy at lane 1, I got the impression that they were close to setting up their own manufacturing site. Wonder what happened?
-
I for one hope not, that will only mean all of the great service that lane1 gives their buyers will be gone. let me tell you a little story about lane1, i bought a ball had it drilled and the ball was very inconsistent for me, I contacted lane1 and they told me to send the ball back and they would send out a NEW one with any specs that I wanted. I seriously doubt if BRUNSWICH would have done the same. I have not said anything because I didnt want every Tom Dick or Harry bothering lane1 trying to get a new ball. I may add that the ball had very few games on it. WITHOUT A DOUBT THE BEST SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN.

AS I GET OLDER I AM LESS AND LESS TOLERABLE TO CHILDISH BEHAVIOR AND MEAN PEOPLE

Someone said it so it must be true, I think someone is blowing smoke. I speak to my rep daily and all I hear is good things to come. I will believe it when
I see it.

SAD, but probably true.... Just wait until GE gets into the bowling ball manufacturing market, think of the possibilities.
Peace

I have sent an email off to Lane #1
I am sure we will have a response
in a day or so. Why would anyone start
a rumor like this without first sending a
simple email to find out the truth first.
Then it would not be a rumor.

An email might not tell you anything either. Until the sale (if true) is complete, they might be wary of releasing any information.

It makes no difference to me who owns Lane 1 as Brunswick makes the balls anyhow. The one thing that does matter to me is the ball cores. Hopefully if Brunswick buys Lane 1, they will leave the Diamond Cores alone and continue to use as is, only changing coverstocks as has usually been the case.

Nothing hits as hard as an Uranium

Maybe i'm wrong, but lane 1 is in the brusnwick booth this year at nationals, and Randy is pretty high up with the company.

Ga1tor, You are 100% correct on the customer service. Lane 1's customer service is great. No ball company out there even comes close to matching Lane 1's customer service.

All this is, Is a nasty rumor. As of lately there has been a ton of just crap
posts. Posts like trying to see how many people will view it or all these lane 1 bashing posts. I wish these posts would just go away or go on to other groups.
Lane1 is doing well and not going away.
