Carbide Plus suggestions........
« on: November 08, 2006, 02:12:43 PM »
O.K. I've got a Carbide Plus, pin over ring, cg stacked. I'd like some more backend on this ball. If a weight hole is an option, which I believ it is, where's the best place for it? How would I go about fine tuning it? I'd like to unleash the animal I hoped this ball would be.

If it's "dry" enough, it reacts decent. But with THS type oil, I don't think it get's it full potential out of it. I know the drilling equals some length, but I just don't want the backend to suffer.

Well with some suggestions from Buzzman at BBE I had the ball wet sanded to 600 grit and polished with 3M polish, and a weight hole put in the thumb quad. Awesome reaction now, increased carry and great backend move. Perfect!
