Clump, the new ball & ad.
« on: October 28, 2003, 10:05:26 PM »
First off, I'd like to thank all of the Lane #1 Buzzsaw users and posters in this forum. It's because of you, the BallReviews members, that's made the biggest difference for us as a company, and I thank everyone for that.

Yes, I do read what people are saying in this forum, even though I don't post very often. I get a kick out of everything that goes on here, especially with guys like Clump. Clump is quite the character. As far as I can see he's probably the most knowledgeable person in this forum concerning Buzzsaws' and our diamond core, along with T-GOD.

It seems that most of you like Clump, even though he's a backwoods hick. So, in appreciation for his efforts to ask the users here what they would like us to make for our next ball, I'm going to bring him to life for everyone to see.

Clump will be featured in our ad for this ball. Based on the results of Clumps poll, and in my discretion, the ball will be a Yellow Gold Pearl, light load particle coverstock, with the Cranberry core.

Now I know many of you like our C/2 core, but I feel that the C/2 core will roll too early for this ball, because our new P.17 Carbide Particle coverstock is really strong.

The ad will premiere on my birthday, Saturday, November 1st, in the "What's Next" section on our website, www.lane1bowling.com

Once again, I'd like to thank everyone who participated in the poll and to all of you who use our fine products. I hope everyone likes the new ball you've created, THIS BALL'S FOR YOU.

LMAO komike!!  So, what do all the BuzzSaw bashers have to say?  The best balls may cost a little more, BUT the Company and it's staff, care about what their users think, and need.  Way to go Richie, Chuck, and everyone at Lane 1.

ROTFLMAO!  Right, a company is going to R&D, manufacture, market, and ship a new ball just to look good/prove you wrong.

Yea, I'm here your clumpiness.  Well, whether you represent Lane #1 or not, you did get Mr. Buzzsaw to post and give us a pre-announcement for the new ball which pnj1967 just told us is the Golden Nugget.  So, my hat's off to you clumpy !

Although I'm not too crazy about yellow, I can't wait to throw the new ball !

Now let's see....what was that recipe for "foot in mouth" soup .

I don't know why, but me thinks the coverstock might look like the old Gold Rhino. I could be wrong, but a yellow gold pearl covertock?!? Sounds like the old Rhino to me.

OK Mr. Clump, since the ad will be out in just 3 days, can you give us any technical hints? Also, where will this ball fit in most arsenals? Between BCB and SCB?

I hope it doesn't look like the old Yellow Gold Rhino as it was one of the ugliest balls ever made. Even uglier than you would look after falling out of Clump's tree.

Sorry, Mr Buzzsaw, but I have to disagree with you. I think virtually no one here except T-God knows what he is saying about Buzzsaws. A_P_K has come upon a solution that MI_2_AZ has agreed with, and given most buzzsaw's low RG differential, I'd tend to agree with their assessment of a drilling method.

As far as your approval of Clump, that's all well and good, but I sincerely doubt that he's a hick from the backwoods and I am personally sick to death of his trying to write like a hick would speak. He even misspells the misspellings. You would be well-served to teach him common communications language or find another spokesman for ballreviews. His typing was funny for the first 49 times; now it's just an irritant.

A name and a pic would suuuure be pretty cool, clumpers.  I know the ad is gonna be put on the website Saturday, but seeing as how it's the ballreviews made ball, don't ya think we could have a sneak peek?

I'm BETTER than you because . .

1) I've met the DNL leprechaun
2) I get paid to watch tv.
3) My dad's friend's brother knows Chris Barnes' stepdad.
4) Kristi's my buuuuuddy
5) I get to witness a man with the speed and revs of Robert Smith combined with the accuracy of the guards in the lobby scene of the Matrix average 240
6) I can throw a better fit over nothing than you can.
