Difference Between SCB and SCB Polished
« on: February 20, 2006, 04:20:30 AM »
Is the only dirfference the cover?  If you polish the SCB, is it not just the same ball as the polished version.
Forgive me for asking what seems to me to be a dumb question, I just don't understand why Lane 1 would come out with what is billed as a new ball, if it is indeed a polished version of one that is already in their lineup.

Thanks to anyone in advance who takes the time to explain this to me.

That is why it WAS NOT a NEW ball, just a factory polished SCB.  USBC saw it as a new ball, yet if you scuff the shine off, it becomes a dull SCB; same core, rg, etc...  There always that possibility that they came out with it because they are working on replacing the SCB in the future, after all, the SCB is now considered Discontinued.  The USBC placed the Polished SCB on the approved list, per Lane 1 not producing anymore SCBs, thus they will get their creative juices flowing, and I am sure that the next Oil monster will be just that, a MONSTER.
