tsunami on carrydown
« on: December 06, 2006, 04:17:33 AM »
got a used tsunami on here and threw last night in league.  ths with a lot of oil.  first game I just killed them with it shooting 247 with 3 solid 10's.  next game the tsunami started to "hang" at the breakpoint and carry went south.  the cover on the ball looks pretty shiny and it might be oob.  Any ideas on grit polish changes to make it more useful on carrydown.  it is drilled pin in ring, mab like 3 inches right of thumb with a wt hole.  I am a slower speed stroker with medium revs and axis tilt.

Take it to 1000 or 2000 abralon, with no polish?

thats where i would start, if you got that from fatboy8, he got that from me and the person that brought it in the shop had i polished so i know it is beyond the factory finish, i would take it to the 2000 and clean it with a good cleaner, i am sure that it has some sort of polish put on it

I used 2000 to dull mine too, as the shine seemed to make it too condition specific, BUT after that it was very awesome.  No polish!!

You can probably use abralon, but because it's particle, I think 3m pads work best.
