Just curious if anyone has sanded down and left dull the Uranuim. How do you like the reaction?

hey, I bought a used unranium and it was polished and wouldn't work for me at all so i took it and had the cover scuffed up with a green scotchbrite and what a differece it made . shot my first 300 with it last thursday and you can say I'm happy with it cherrybomber
How was this ball drilled? This ball has serious agression.. I have never
had to change the cover stock to get the ball to do what it was supposed
to do other than the normal cleaning of it..

I too have taken the shine off, but only to 1200 grit sanded. Have shot a couple of 700's with it since and like the ball much more. Had problems (see thread Uranium Blues) with some splitting. A bit over and under for me when polished.

has anyone drilled this ball stacked? i got the ball but i haven't drilled it yet but will be using the stacked leverage. I'm a stroker about 13 14 mph and averaging in the 180's.

CJ, I'm a stroker/tweener with 14-16 mph speed and low revs. I have the Uranium and it is drilled Label drill. It has a 2 1/2" Pin and is drilled with the Pin beside ringfinger and CG kicked out 7/8" from center of grip. The ball has good length and an exceptionaly strong back end. Hardley ever leaves a 10 Pin. It became the first ball out of my bag the very first day I threw it. Read my profile.
