Tsunami
« on: February 11, 2006, 08:45:03 AM »
Anybody ever notice a void in the Tsunami. When I look in the thumb hole there is a void, a cracked hole into the ball that is visible. I e-mailed Lane 1 and they tell me this is normal. Here is their response (The void you're seeing is most likely to be caused from the locater pin which holds the offset mini nugget in place. This is normal, because of the construction of the ball). I am not very technical so I don't know how it is drilled. Any ideas?

I have one in my H2O. It's from the pin used to locate teh mass bias locator. No problem though...have seen then hole in Lane 1 balls, Brunswick balls, MoRich balls, Storm balls....

When I had mine drilled, it looked like a red straw came out and it left a hole in the bottom of the thumb. I emailed them and they said the "red straw" was what held in the mini-nugget, not to worry. Most others use fishing line, but I'm not complaining, this ball has been great.

I'm averaging 225 with it (versus 212 before), with a 279 game this week (10 pin in the 9th, put it out on the lane a little bit farther than the rest).

Next ball will be a Lane #1 also.
