So today was the day of our City Tournament, team event. Last week we had just bowled Pepsi at the same alley, and well I did well and my brother...not so good. He averages a 182, but barely threw a 460 on the lanes last week. This was BEFORE we recieved a Black Cherry Bomb on the following Monday. Lane conditions were the same as last week, and therefore my brother was again having a hard time with his Rule GP2 and his Trifecta. I warned him not to use the BCB before the tournament, since he really had only 3 games on it and it was on a heavier condition where it didn move too much.

Boy, I was wrong. He came out smoking with it, and it does hit like a bomb. He didn't really bowl anything special (a 568), but still it worked like a charm and anything in the pocket or brooklyn was a automatic strike. It took him a little bit to really get a feel for the ball in the first game (a 177), but then he used it to it's advantage throwing a 200 and a 191.

Thanks to pdiddy for sending us his first shot at a Lane #1 ball. Now I'm going to have to get one myself (even though I did throw a 671 with my The One, my second highest sanctioned set ever...my highest set came yesterday at league!)

Oh yeah, our team basically killed today though. We're sure to make it to States (average is 750, had a 740 + 807 + 830). If that's not high enough for scratch...I've gotta see the teams that beat us cause we were on fire.
