i thought sport shot mean 2:1 ratio, anyways it could be guardian surface is way high friction so i would be surprised if it plays like that on that surface, plus no lane machine touches the one board so with that much revs on a high friction surface it could happen, but who knows?

And what in the world does that have to do with anything???  This clown is obviously NOT throwing on a sport shot.  He can throw it anywhere from 10 to 2 and strike.  I think ONE person said that sport shots should be the norm, not the majority.  This is the problem that some of us have with house shots.  This guy isn't the least bit accurate with his line, release, launch angle, and probably speed or revs.  But because he flails it with revs, he probably has a handful of honor scores and averages 220.  Like many said, but few heard on the other post, nothing wrong with bowling on a THS if that's all you want.  Most people don't want to work every time they bowl.  Nothing wrong with a nice easy THS in general.  However, some of us want more, and it's nice that the powers that be are making it a little easier to find challenging shots for those that want them.

Strider I think it has to do with alot in that topic !

This vid is being considered a Sportshot. People in the other thread are wanting this to be the normal shot to replace the THS.

Does this kinda shot really look any better then THS ???????

just a thought.

I'm not sure it says anything. Different surfaces, oil volumes, etc., can make huge difference in reaction.

Look at your own experiences. You bowl in at least one house where balls can violently hook at 20-25 feet in heavy oil. Now to most of us, that makes no sense at all. It actually sounds ridiculous on the surface. It just goes to show how reaction can vary due to any number of variables.

The comment about norm and the us open shot was ridiculous.  If you watched the freakin show, you would have seen if norm didn't hit 10 DOWNLANE it didn't strike.  He is that good.  Loschetter hit 8 and left the washout.  That is a sport shot.  A flat shot would never have that much recovery as this clown did.
