Try sanding the cover down to 360 abralon and remove the oil (I usually use a hot water bath) then hit it with 500 abralon followed by 2000 abralon. If you have changed the cover at all and gotten the underlying grits out of sorts that could be what is killing the ball. after the 500 sanding hit for only 8-10 secs on 4 sides with the 2000 to keep the teeth from the 500 there for the midlane.

I am some what speed dominant and have no trouble getting any of my Lane#1 gear to hook on any condition. The biggest thing I have noticed since 900 Global started pouring them is that they are more condition specific heavier oil balls tend to burn up more now when used on lighter conditions where some of the older releases would just hook off the lane if there wasn't enough oil for their purpose.

I have come to realize this ball is what it is.... Its a great asset for shot pattern because it doesnt over react and so that is what it will be used for only... LANE 1 is really wrong for this....

Another update....
Sanded the ball down to 2000...

This ball needs oil in the mids and the backend has to clean or short shot...

Okay - This is not a banishing thread....

After several games and tournaments with this ball my results stands as the following... This is not a heavy oil ball but great for those houses with high backend and front oil... It gives a move that my other balls don't... It can say its very unique in the way it moves when it hits a dry board after a few seconds.....
