Been interested in this ball since I first saw the add a month ago, and now it seems it finally has been released. Problem is that many of the online places do not carry Lane 1 stuff, and those that do don't have them listed. Other than the Lane 1 website, where can I order one? Got to believe someone has them cheaper than $185. Used to throw some Lane 1 stuff years ago, and would not mind trying them again. Thanks for the help.

They might but lane 1 doesnt want to come down on their prices and with that, makes them extremely hard to push in the shop. Cost exceeds performance or comparable performance I should say.

The Dart is a very unique high performance ball, with a diff of .013. As far as I know, there's not many, if any other balls comparable to that.
And just for the record, just because 2 different balls have the same RG and Diff numbers, doesn't mean they will hit the same. They may hook the same, but pin carry won't be the same. That's the important thing in my book.

Label on the side of the ball doesn't have any effect on pin carry.

The engraving on the side "literally" doesn't have any effect on pin carry, but the core shape does. RG's and Diff's only tell you the ball motion, they don't tell you the energy created by the core. Think about it, you can have a core that is shorter and less dense with a certain RG & Diff. Now in order for a taller/bigger core to have the same numbers, the bigger/taller core has to be more dense. Now if you spin/rotate both objects with the same tpm's, the bigger/denser core is going to generate more force and hit harder. They both might hook the same, but the heavier one will generate more gyroscopic inertia, turning into a 17lb. ball vs the normal weight of the ball and/or a core generating less inertia. That's proven physics, but the USBC "ball motion" study doesn't talk about this and/or have any calculations for different shape cores. The bottom line is, this is fact..!!

Anybody wanna sell one?

This ball is worth every penny when the lanes are drier. If it hits like a marsh mellow, either there's too much carrydown for it, or you're using it on the wrong condition. =:^D
