A Lane#1 ball I'd like to see now ...
« on: November 19, 2007, 02:30:55 PM »
Now that 900 Global is making Lane#1 balls and they have access to SuperFlex, I would LOVE, JUST LOVE to see a solid Super-Flex cover around a C2 core, like the one in Black Raspberry, Pink Raspberry, Blueberry OR the core in the Carbide + Plus, Buzzsaw/C Carbide, Super Carbide & Pearl Cherry.

believe it or not, supernova original is dang close to the reaction of the pink and black raspberry with more punch in the hole.  I am continually amazed as to how reactive like this low load particle is.  slight mass bias in the core but it is still in my honest opinion very reminiscent of the original black raspberry.  I have mine drilled 5.5 pin to pap with mass bias slightly right of thumb, resulting in cg right in palm of hand, took surface down to 600 then brought it back up to roughly 1500 with ebo power house refinisher, tamed the midlane down and gave me all the room i needed in the backend

the xp (pearl version) in a side by side test last night with my pearl cherry c/2 (the miscolored freakish backend ball) standing feet on 42 across 20 to the 8 the cherry was about 2 boards stronger on teh back, xp could play that line but struggled just a touch, I either needed to go further outside with the xp or move feet 3 boards right and throw 4th arrow, both balls were similar in motion but I cant say it enough the supernova core just plain hits harder, it is hard to describe but it blows the rack, my cherry hits a ton, but the xp and nova sound entirely different when the hit

I don't have the XP yet of course, but I can agree with Triggerman on the hit, carry, & sound of the Supernova. Tremendous!
