I thought it was a new Revolution/Brunswick release at first view lol.

Diamond core technology isn't cheap. Neither is having to pay another company to produce your stuff. That cost gets passed on to the customers.

PRO-V1's aren't cheap either. Maybe it has to do with the name.

It's not cheap, but between 2 leagues I'm dumping $30-$40 per week in side action. In the overall scheme of things, if I really wanted a ball, I'm not going to lose sleep over paying that much extra.
 
10 years ago, high end Lane#1 equipment was going for $180-$190. It shouldn't be a shock to see it now.

I do 40 a night minimum.  I was just saying dang, lane 1 is supposed to be good now huh?

I understand that...but what new innovative newness are they bringing to the table besides a chunk taken out of the core? 

Instead of creating a bunch of buzz about this great new product they just put it out there with an elevated price point.  If they don't watch it they will be on elites turf in terms of pricing!

all lane 1 stuff seems a tad steep, i really wanted the new typhoon pearl but then i saw the price tag...$185.00
