What can I expect?
« on: December 20, 2005, 08:39:26 AM »
Been throwing Saws only for 3 years now. All are drilled either 1:30 label or 4x4 stacked. I've been hesitant to try the pin below the fingers. I've given up on the bomb cores, just don't react well for me, but love the diamond cores. Favorite 2 are Super Carbide (original) label, and Tsunami, label. Current house shot for our league is 42'oil with out of bounds 10 out. What's working best right now is the Tsunami, sanded to 600. (out hooks my SCB, go figure). One of my Uraniums, label, rolls nice too but just too much oil to work right. I will be receiving my EU thursday. What can I expect if I put the pin below the fingers? I throw 20+  mph, high track, med-high revs.

fresno, If you have a pretty high track, be careful about putting the pin below the fingers. The uraniums have a tendency to track closer to the fingers naturally, so you may have a problem with it tracking over the middle finger. Are you getting a long enough pin that you could put it above or to the right of the ring finger?

I don't know, you have high speed as well & maybe you need a lower pin drilling on one if you could get away without clipping the finger. If you are within 1/2 " of the thumb or fingers on your U pearls, I don't think I would try it though.
