.......hits super HARD!  So far I've thrown the XXXL (hardest hitting plastic ball ever), Cherry Bomb (literal explosion at the pins), Emerald (once it catches its roll you better duck for cover), Super Carbide Bomb (even though it rolled out all the time due to lack of oil it still slammed the pins).

I am trying to stay objective just like I did at the Roto section.  So I am not saying that this is good or bad, however, I am saying that its very enjoyable to watch the crushing blows that I give to the pins.  Hopefully none of Lane 1's representatives will act like other representatives (like ones from Utah) when they read my posts.

Crank,

Just to give you an idea about the sonic in case you didn't read my post, I threw the sonic and the XL side by side and the sonic is much stronger than the XL on drier conditions.  They both will skate on heavy oil which is to be expected, but that Sonic is NOT a drier lane ball.  On drier lanes, not dry, the sonic grabbed the lane much harder than the XL and it also got much less length than the XL.

Try asking Doc Hollywood too.  He didn't believe me so he threw both balls side by side to test them himself and he found the same thing.

But I do agree with what everyone has said about there being a gap between the XL and the XXXL.  I was just teasing Saw Mill.  Will Lane 1 fill that gap?  I don't know.  That gap filler is a proven money loser for companies.

But forget about the Sonic, do what other users have told me to do and find a blue hot flame and adjust the surface if you have to.

pchee,
i actually went and read all that on the roto forum after reading what i thought meant you thought that big Roger was an... well i got in trouble last time i said what i thoguht out here so i won't.. and i see that you and others agree that the sonic x is too strong.. i threw one once and i thought it was quite strong but i thought the conditions might be too dry, plus the drilling was stong.. so i guess from what you guys are saying then its just stronger than advertised.  i won't get in to it much but i had that same argument with Mustang boy.. i said the fuel didn't hook half as much as it should for its ratings... well as you now know thats not something to say.. i think rotogrips ratings stink and i told him that 4 months ago and nothing has been done.. so i agree with you.. talking to him isn't gonna get anything done... i sited that the sonic i threw was hooking more than i thought it should.. and that the fuel wasn't even close to being as agressive as it was supposed to be... yeah you won't win.. but the way i look at it, i'll take a corvette and a lane 1 ball anyday and kick his mustang and his rotos out the door.
I think i may look for the blue hot.. unless for some unknown reason lane 1 gets us that ball we've been asking for (HINT HINT HINT!!!!!)

LONG LIVE THE CHERRY BOMB!!! (and yes it out hooks both the fuel and the top fuel, maybe the sonic can give it a run for its money, lol)

I really don't know why he acts that way.  He mentioned that he can take criticism all day but obviously he can't.   I think its kinda funny.  And speaking of funny, this cracks me up "LONG LIVE THE CHERRY BOMB!!! (and yes it out hooks both the fuel and the top fuel, maybe the sonic can give it a run for its money, lol)"

LOL!

yeah Rotogrip has lost a customer due to his actions mainly and the fact that nothing has been done to address the deficiencies in their ratings. i really wish that they would replace their ratings and representative so that communication could actually happen.  so hows that for creative criticism???

As most know I am a dedicated Storm user but since drilling the XXXL and my Cherry Bomb, I am a believer.

I have sold my X Factor, Deuce and my CorePower HRG in favor of collecting some $$$$ to buy myself some Lane 1 balls. I am thinking the Viper, Emerald and Super Bomb will fill out my 5 ball arsenal quite well. But what the heck, I'll grab a Blueberry too!!!!

All that Lane 1 needs is a urethane ball now...maybe the XXL?????

Hey Richie...I know you and Chuck are out there....how about it guys? I'll gladly be a guinea pig tester for you :-)

I'm not going to say if this is good or bad but my Reaction Rev hits harder than all Lane#1 equipment.

Sort of a FAAAAAA-Whump-as!!!!!!!  To the pocket. Of course I've already posted a FA Whump post!

Of course lane#1s all hit hard for me, except an original pearl viper.

That one hit like meeeeeow, little cat noises!
